RAZCLE FAQs
RAZCLE is 3D printed here in the USA in order to get the precise design necessary for optimal water flow through the device to clean blades effectively. RAZCLE is made of Nylon 12, a durable material. RAZCLE’s bottle is made of high quality HDPE.
This first version of RAZCLE is compatible with Gillette Mach 3 and Mach 3 Turbo cartridge razors and Gillette Mach 3 disposable razors
Yes, pending market demand.
Not at this time; RAZCLE is the color of the blend of its 3D-printed raw materials; it is possible to dye RAZCLE post 3D-printing, but the dye will not hold up in a wet environment long-term.
It is possible, but not recommended. RAZCLE’s performance as a razor cleaner and water conservation device is dependant on delivering the optimal volume of water at just the right velocity and pressure. RAZCLE’s bottle has undergone extensive testing to assure those requirements are met.

While it isn’t exactly a magic number, we’ve found cleaning your blade 4 times each shave with RAZCLE provides the optimal clean. It’s possible this may vary for you based on the type of beard butter, shave butter, or shaving cream you use. Remember: if you use our Beard Brush to prep, you can and should use less shaving butter or cream, which also means you have less gunk to clean out of your blades. Yes! RAZCLE is patented under US patent number 10,631,613.
RAZCLE is specially designed to deliver the right volume and speed of water to push stubble and gunk out of a multi-blade razor head. A quick squeeze of the bottle delivers enough water pressure to easily and effectively clean the blade. See RAZCLE in action.
ShaveAware Wet Shaving Routine FAQs
Here’s the TL;DR
- ShaveAware Beard Brush lifts whiskers away from skin to better prep your beard, applies your shaving butter, and keeps your hands clean.
- RAZCLE uses as little as 8 oz. of water to effectively clean your razor during your shave.
- Clean razor = more great shaves out of each razor head.

We’ve found that the optimal shaving routine uses shaving butter, rather than shaving cream for a couple of reasons:
- Shaving cream tends to harden or “fall” pretty quickly. Not only does this make cleaning your razor a little tougher (although RAZCLE will still work!), but it also means your beard brush would need to be cleaned after each shave so it doesn’t stiffen into a concrete mass.
- If you apply shaving cream with your hands, rather than the beard brush, you have to rinse your hands clean, wasting water unnecessarily.
- Most shaving cream is made of ingredients that are ultimately very drying (like isopropyl alcohol), which can make your skin more sensitive to shaving irritation and ingrown hairs. Dry skin also produces more oil to protect itself, so drying your skin while shaving can make your skin oilier–potentially leading to acne.
Our favorite shaving butter doesn’t harden even after days out, so you don’t have to worry about cleaning your beard brush every shave.
